Confirmation This sacrament in one in which the Holy Ghost is given to those already baptized in order to make them stronger and perfect Christians. Confirmation will take place in the eighth grade, utilizing a 8-meeting format designed to “break open” the Rite of Confirmation and strengthen the tie between Confirmation sponsor and candidate. Eighth Grade students eligible to prepare for Confirmation, will need to arrange for their sponsor to attend with them as they prepare. The process will include attending FIRE Retreat and eight preparation sessions. We ask that you participate in our Generations of Faith program to prepare for this sacrament.
